MetaLeX is, above all, a team. We are cypherpunk lawyers, engineers, and anons aiming to solve the currently unsolvable problems in crypto, AI, and finance via cyBernetic ORGanizations.

We believe autonomous technologies are forcing a complete re-imagining of both the societal and legal fabric of the world and morphing it into a fully cybernetic one. Our singular goal is to fuse on-chain protocols and off-chain legal arrangements to construct this new technologically augmented society, free of the corruption of the previous trust-dependent one.

  The creator of the concept of BORGs, a crypto-law mainstay and co-founder of MetaLeX, Gabriel co-founded MetaLeX and provides its long term vision and the high-level architecture of MetaLeX’s cybernetic law platform. Backed by seven years of BigLaw tech M&A and venture experience, he also leads the dealmaking aspects of MetaLeX’s legal practice.

  Alex co-founded MetaLeX. With over 16 years of law experience specializing in International tax law and United States territorial tax law, Alex has worked with and represented heavy hitters in both the TradFi and DeFi realms, Alex provides key tax and litigation perspective on MetaLeX’s platform design and leads the tax, litigation and regulatory advisory aspects of MetaLeX’s legal practice.

  Crossing Between Worlds.
  While working with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Andrew conducted rigorous regulatory examinations and inspections as part of the SEC Cyber Unit, training the staff on the advanced technical and legal aspects of distributed ledger technology, gaining an intimate knowledge of both the technological, regulatory and logistical aspects of the current crypto ecosystem. 
  Being able to navigate between the business, governmental, and anarchic spaces seamlessly, he’s currently supporting the legal team of MetaLeX and is one of the main supporting pillars of its operation.

  Specializing in system design, trustless engineering, and iterative development, PrePop leads the  technical team by example utilizingContinuous ImprovementandNikolai’s Principlesat the foundation of MetaLeX’s products to achieve the maximum reliability mixed with the maximum trustlessness possible.
  He believes that the goal of crypto should be to end “decentralization theater” for good, to restore the original goal of DAOs as vehicles for freedom, and in building technology that will last for centuries, rather than cycles.

  Leading the design, branding and architecting of the product is the artist and interaction designer Vonberg, known for multiple acclaimed multimedia art projects and designing intuitive signage and information systems for governments and private entities.
  Specializing in refining and redefining the interplay between human, cyber, and system-to-system interactions, he constantly challenges standards and creates an invisible guide for everyone who discovers any of his creations.
  At MetaLeX he pulls inspiration from everything from cyberpunk pioneers, to Swiss minimalism, and to neon lights of Tokyo, fusing cyberpunk aesthetics with extreme usability, lowering the friction between the user’s brain and the MetaLeX protocols for full cybernetic symbiosis.

  After escaping the corporate world, becoming an entrepreneur and then working with dozens of protocols across crypto, GreyPixel has shown himself to be one of the most striking and interesting front-end and graphic designers in the crypto space. Now he’s leading the engineering of the web app and surrounding infrastructure to bring BORGs to life and creating a best-in-class compatibility layer between humans and cybernetic tools.

  An attorney and solidity dev, Erich counsels several DeFi and privacy project developers, and leads development of LeXscroW, MetaLeX’s forthcoming trust-minimized non-custodial escrow product. His engineering philosophy revolves around aggressively cutting out trust, middlemen, and rent seeking in favor of encoded immutability while keeping the variability and usability of the tool intact, avoiding the technical barrier that plagues most open-source technology.

  A Web3 programmer with a deep affinity for web animation and interactivity—dating back to the Flash days before it met its untimely demise—Pieter combines technical expertise with a sharp eye for design. Entering the space in the 2017 bull market, he got wrecked but gained something far more valuable: an obsession with smart contracts and DeFi. Since then, he has built and interacted with Ethereum contracts while crafting user-friendly, customizable Web3 experiences that bridge the gap between usability and innovation.

A first-principles learner, he has been an Ethereum validator since its genesis, solo-staking at home despite his internet provider often let him down; he pressed on nevertheless, till the day Starlink and fiber came to rescue. As one of the earliest Maker SAI arbitrageurs, he self-taught finance the hard way—rigorously and correctly. He made his high-school teacher proud by turning AMM math to 11 and solved real-time Perpetual Swap funding rate on-chain with constant computational complexity.
