The latest news and updates from MetaLex
One form, one payment in stablecoins, one transaction, and your startup is filed, EIN'd, and up and running. MetaLeX's formation flow files the company, applies for the EIN, and sets up the cap table and boardRoom in a single USDC transaction.
Nearly every public security in America is registered to a partnership whose name means “surrender”. Now they’re coming for crypto. DTCC’s nominee sits on issuers’ ledgers as record holder; its new tokenization program puts those entitlements on public chains without making the chain the law.
MetaLeX's mission—putting every legal entity onchain—is one of the last remaining cypherpunk frontiers. Constitutive tokenization makes the chain the entity's authoritative record under DGCL §224, separating law from the state the way Bitcoin separated money and Ethereum separated finance.
Industry talk of 'native tokenization' often describes pointer architectures like Superstate's Tokenized GLXY, where the legal register lives offchain at a transfer agent. True native tokenization is constitutive: the chain is the stock ledger under DGCL §224, and the token is the security—not a credential pointing at a database.
The Tokenization Hub is the first DeFi-style app that lets companies issue and administer tokenized securities entirely on their own. No brokers, no transfer agents, no depositaries--just you, your investors, and the blockchain.
Most deployed tokenized securities—including ERC-3643, Securitize DS Protocol, Superstate, and Canton Network—preserve the full intermediary chain while adding a smart contract layer on top. Genuine onchain securities require a chain-as-ledger architecture where the token IS the legal record under DGCL §224.
A new app from MetaLeX, built for token projects. The project's real-world legal entity holds an equity round where it values the entity in terms of an already-launched, market-priced token.
A wallet-native alternative to DocuSign. Sign any legal agreement with your Ethereum or Base wallet, store the PDF on IPFS, and anchor the cryptographic signing proof onchain--no emails, no proprietary servers, and verifiability that outlasts any vendor.
